Hello, we are looking for a live-in or nearly live-in caretaker for my in-laws who live on Mount Pleasant, near Yonge/Eglington. They are a happy couple in their 80s who need someone around to help them up when they fall (day and night), occasional help with technology, housekeeping and potentially some cooking. (Bonus if you know Greek cooking). They are very lucid and self-sufficient, except for their mobility issues. The mom was a former teacher, and they are very kind and open to all nationalities. They live in a two bedroom, 3 bathroom condo… so you would have your own private room and bathroom. To start, I suppose it makes sense to be live-out and if the relationship solidifies, move-in option available. Role: Housekeeping and be present to assist them and help them up when needed, day and night. Caretaker MUST be able to lift ~150lbs person. They are part of a large family, but need some extra personal care to attend to their day to day activities. Shower support for the mom only ***FEMALE APPLICANTS ONLY*** Reminder to take medicine for both. This is the first time we’ve had to look for a PSW, so please share your qualifications, availability, and personality description. We need someone asap, but are willing to wait til we find the right match. I will review candidates first for shortlisting, and then they will do their final selection.
